How To Apply
APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 28th , 11:59 PM CET
Are you ready to apply? Or just wondering how to go about it later? Here’s what you should do!
The application will be online until the deadline. The application is an online form, that is designed to let us learn about you. Filling in the application will take 15-20 minutes. First part is your basic information, and then there are some questions you might have to think about a bit more about. Take your time.
Participants will be chosen solely based on what's in their application. That is why you should put effort into it and really let us see why you would be a great participant.
We’re looking for YFU volunteers with concrete leadership experiences. By leadership experience, we are looking at in a broad sense, and both within and outside of YFU! The only criterion we have is that you need to have experience leading a group or groups of other people. This could be in YFU, in a student organization, through community or social leadership, organizing an event, leading/coachign a sports team etc.. Maybe you have been employed in a managerial position or something similar? Remember, there are no “right” answers.
To make sure that we have a participant group that represents all of the 7 YFUs involved, each organization has 2-4 reserved slots for participants from that country. Participants’ citizenship is not a defining factor, but all participants do need to be affiliated with one of the Nordic-Baltic YFUs and currently live in either a Nordic or Baltic country.
All applicants will be informed of the selection result in the first days of December. Participants will be asked to confirm their participation at the course ASAP. Participants will receive their flight information as soon as possible after their confirmation. Flights or other transportation to the training venues is covered fully by the NBLC funds, as well as food and board during the course weekends.
Don’t miss your opportunity to join us on this journey! Carpe diem - seize it with your heart and both hands!
